PPL Course Requirements at flyNEXA
To embark on your PPL training at flyNEXA, you must:

Practical Flight Training: Experience approximately 30 hours in our advanced DA40 simulator under the guidance of an instructor. You will also log at least 40 hours in a DA40 aircraft, mastering maneuvers and aircraft handling through dual instruction. Additionally, you will build confidence and decision-making skills during 5 hours of solo flights, which are crucial for your development.
Additional Training Components: Benefit from 20 hours of personalized one-on-one ground instruction, focusing on areas that need improvement. Participate in six hours of essential pre/post-flight briefings to prepare for and review each flying session.
Logistical and Support Services: Train in Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) equipped with the latest navigation technology. flyNEXA provides extensive support throughout your training, including medical certification assistance, accommodation options, and career counseling.

Four Steps to Earning Your PPL at flyNEXA
Step 1: Complete Ground School
flyNEXA’s ground school spans essential topics such as aerodynamics, weather, flight planning, and navigation. Lasting about four weeks, this stage can be completed virtually and includes simulator training to prepare you for the FAA written exam.
Step 2: Undertake Flight Training
flyNEXA requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight training, often extending beyond 50 hours to ensure proficiency and confidence. This includes daytime and nighttime flights, cross-country journeys, and various maneuvers, enhanced by simulated flights.
Step 3: Pass the Check-Ride
Once you’re ready, a flyNEXA flight instructor will endorse your FAA check-ride. This practical test assesses your ability to plan flights, interact with Air Traffic Control, execute maneuvers, and follow examiner instructions.
